Rhea Ripley successfully retained her championship at the Crown Jewel Premium Live Event. Now, she looks forward to her next challenger.
Last night on Monday Night Raw, a new number-one contender for the WWE Women’s World Heavyweight Championship was crowned. It was none other than Zoey Stark.
On Monday Night Raw, a Battle Royal match took to determine the next challenger for Rhea Ripley. The Battle Royal was a tough battle for all the women involved. Some of the big names in the match were former NXT Women’s Champion Becky Lynch, Tegan Nox, Raquel Rodriguez, Nia Jax, Shayna Baszler, and many more. Newly signed Raw star, Ivy Nile of Diamond Mine was also part of this match. The current WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Chelsea Green and Piper Niven also were part of the match. The two had a strong showing as well.
After a tough fight, the final two stars remaining were Baszler and Stark. Both battled each other in the edge of the ring. Finally, Stark picked up the win.
Following the match, Jackie Redmond caught up with the new number-one contender for an exclusive interview.
“This is the most important win of my career. At Survivor Series, I get to go one-on-one with Rhea Ripley. Yes! She gave me the Rip Tide. But I also gave her the Z360. Okay? She never pinned me. And I know that Rhea knows that I could beat her. And that is why she is scared. That is why she has a tough exterior right now. She know I could beat her one… two… three. Survivor Series, you are looking at the new Women’s World Champion,” Zoey Stark said.
