The Iron Claw will bring the tragic tale of the Von Erich family to theaters. The stars have teased that they would step into the ring if asked.
Zac Efron, Jeremy Allen White, and Harris Dickinson will play Kevin, Kerry, and David Von Erich, respectively, in the upcoming film.
Speaking with EW, The Iron Claw stars discussed the process of making the movie and learning about wrestling. They were asked about potentially stepping into the squared circle in real life.
“Oh, I would jump in,” White replied.
“I would love to,” Dickinson said. “Do you remember at the end of the shoot? We were like, ‘Should we try and do this for real?'”
“We went to Sean and were like, ‘Sean, call them! Tell them we’re ready!'” White said.
“Yeah, call WWE!” Efron replied. “Say we’re going to do it!”
The three stars laughed, but Dickinson turned serious and asked his co-stars whether they would actually wrestle if they were asked.
White responded by saying, “F— yeah.” Efron said he would do it if his two on-screen brothers were there.
Time will tell whether the three stars will ever actually lace up a pair of boots. For now, fans can look forward to seeing them portray The Von Erichs when The Iron Claw hits theaters on December 22.
