Paige Van Zant is enjoying her post-fighting life.
Barstool Sports‘ Glenny Balls recently spoke with Paige VanZant and asked about her career earnings. Balls assumed that PVZ made more from her OnlyFans page than from fighting. VanZant then shared just exactly how much more money she made from her new endeavor.
“Yeah. I definitely have. I would say when I made the switch to OnlyFans — there’s a lot of stuff I’ve done in my career. I’ve been really fortunate about my career,” Paige VanZant explained. “Even outside of the UFC and out of fighting has been pretty successful. I’ve worked pretty hard in other industries and trying to cross over, I guess [to] a more mainstream personality.
“But yes, OnlyFans has definitely been my largest source of income. I would say combined, in my fighting career,” she noted, “I think I made more money in 24 hours on OnlyFans than I had in my entire fighting career. Combined. Yeah.”
A return to AEW?
Paige VanZant has a career MMA record of 8-5. Her last fight was in July 2020. Since then, she has competed twice for Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship, and she has appeared in All Eltie Wrestling. Paige VanZant joined AEW in September 2021, and competed in her first (and only) match at Double Or Nothing 2022. She has not returned to AEW since then.
During an appearance on Fightful’s Grapsody podcast, AEW President Tony Khan said he’s open to bringing Paige VanZant back, noting she had a great attitude towards the wrestling business.
“I would like that. I would like that. Paige Van Zant makes a lot of money and she is very talented and commands a big dollar figure, but I’m also very interested in that. Paige Van Zant, I would like to come back at some point. I really like Paige Van Zant, she’s awesome and I love Dan Lambert,” Khan said.
“No, it wasn’t a one-off. I’m open to doing more with Paige Van Zant. I think it’s something that I would definitely be open to down the road,” Khan explained. “Tough as hell and has a great attitude. Did great in the match and I think with the right fight and the right opponent, yes I would love that, for Paige Van Zant to fight again in AEW.”
