Seth Rollins Is Very Curious Why Sami Zayn Seemingly Helping Him At WWE Crown Jewel

This past Saturday afternoon was the WWE Crown Jewel Premium Live Event. During the show, Damian Priest’s plan to cash in the Money In The Bank contract was spoiled by Sami Zayn. The reigning WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins is also curious about why Zayn did so.

The opening match of the main show of the PLE was the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match between the champion Seth Rollins and the challenger Drew McIntyre. The Visionary managed to retain his title. After the match, Damian Priest ran down to cash in his contract but Sami Zayn interfered and ran away with the briefcase. Rollins also while surprised was grinning after that. After the show, Jackie Redmond caught up with Rollins to hear from about the incident.

“Honestly, I don’t really know what to make of it. I don’t have a great explanation for why Sami Zayn is out there, I know he’s got his beef with the Judgment Day, as we all kind of do at this point. I was ready to fight. My body wasn’t feeling like I was ready to fight, but I was gonna give it everything I had if, in fact, he was gonna be there to cash in. And as someone who’s very familiar with that contract, I understand that you got to pick the perfect time, he saw me in a bad way. I don’t fault Priest. But, yeah, very curious, from Sami Zayn. He’s a good friend, so I might have to shoot him a text and see what that was all about.

“But, yeah, it was a hell of a night here. Still going on behind us. Looking forward to Raw and seeing what the future holds, man,” Seth Rollins said.
