Karrion Kross was reportedly set to return on the November 3 episode of WWE SmackDown, but the segment was pulled from the show.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) previously reported that Kross was set to appear on Friday’s show, which was taped on October 27. In an update, Sapp wrote that Kross was slated for a backstage segment. But WWE sources said it would “not have made sense for anyone involved.” As a result, it was nixed, and the segment was never filmed.
However, Sapp noted that the change was not relayed to everyone. The segment was still on run sheets as of 7 p.m. ET the night of the double taping. However, WWE adjusted accordingly, and there were no major issues regardless.
Additionally, Sapp wrote that there is no update on upcoming creative for Kross. He stated that several in WWE were said to have been happy with Scarlett and Shotzi’s performances as the hosts of NXT Halloween Havoc.
