CM Punk has jokes.
Former AEW World Champion CM Punk was on commentary at CFFC 127 on November 3. Punk has called the action for Cage Fury Fighting Championships before, and he was part of the broadcast on Friday night.
In one highlight, broadcaster John Morgan responded to Punk by saying, “You see what happens when you let CM Punk do the booking?”
Punk then responded by quipping, “Yeah, you get an entertaining show.”
Morgan then asked whether anyone has ever thought about giving Punk his own show, where he controls the direction of it.”
Punk answered by saying, “No, nobody’s ever thought about that.”
Update: Punk also sparked some buzz, as he had a WWE handkerchief in his jacket, and the commentary team referenced Total Nonstop Action (TNA).
Before AEW terminated Punk’s contract on September 2, he was the on-screen face of AEW Collision, and he reportedly had a lot of say with the show behind the scenes.
