The road to recovery begins for Erik.
Erik of the Viking Raiders has been absent from WWE programming in recent weeks. He last wrestled at the WWE Main Event taping on September 11. The Viking Raiders were set to face The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) on the September 18 episode of WWE RAW. However, Erik was not cleared to compete, and he has not been seen since.
In a post on Instagram on November 1, Erik announced that he was recovering from C6/C7 fusion surgery. He expressed his gratitude to the doctors and WWE for making sure he has the best care possible. The WWE star also joked that he was excited for the possibilities once his cybernetic upgrades came online. The post included a picture of Erik and Sarah Logan.
The Viking Raiders are former RAW and NXT Tag Team Champions.
