On the October 25 episode of AEW Dynamite, Chris Jericho teased that he has a big friend, and a new report shines some light on the situation.
In an interview on Dynamite, Jericho discussed his feud with Powerhouse Hobbs and the Don Callis Family. Jericho noted that Hobbs was big, but he knows someone bigger.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reports that the working plan was for Paul Wight, formerly known as The Big Show, to return for some sort of match at AEW Full Gear. Wight has not wrestled since he competed in a squash match on AEW Dark: Elevation in March 2022. He had a few matches in September and October 2021.
As previously reported, Wight had been discussed for a match at AEW All In, but it didn’t happen.
Wight and Jericho teamed up together in WWE a number of years ago. Collectively known as Jeri-Show, they held the WWE Unified Tag Team Championship together.
WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
