Speedball Mike Bailey Went To France To Kick Ass And Eat Delicious Food, Wants To Fight Guy Fieri

Guy Fieri is rolling out… but Speedball Mike Bailey wants to roll up on the Mayor of Flavortown.

Bailey is a noted foodie in the pro wrestling community. He shared some highlights from his recent trip to France, which included some awesome-looking plates.

“I came to France to kick ass and eat delicious food,” Bailey wrote. “It didn’t go my way last night at @bodyzoi against @Aigleblanclucha so I needed an extra-delicious lunch before my flight. The Carpaccio and Veal Milanese were great! THANK YOU! SUPPORT BODYZOI!”

Speedball Mike Bailey was also announced as a participant in the NJPW Lonestar Shootout pay-per-view set for Friday, November 10 at the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, Texas. Zack Sabre Jr. will defend his NJPW World TV Championship against Bailey at the event.

Bailey stuck with the food theme and said he not only wants to win the belt and become TV Champion, but he wants to defend it against Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives legend, Guy Fieri.

“I should be the World TV Champion. I bet Zack Sabre Jr doesn’t even own a TV. Meanwhile, I watch 80+ hours of Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives on TV every single week,” Bailey wrote on Twitter. “I wanna win this belt and defend it against Guy Fieri. My motivation is too strong. #NJLonestar #NJFlavorTown”

Beef Wellington Sucks

WWE‘s Baron Corbin recently spoke with WrestleZone’s Managing Editor, Bill Pritchard. Corbin was asked about potentially using his real-life love for culinary arts as a gimmick. He was also asked what celebrity chef he’d like to feud with. Corbin didn’t have a current beef with Guy Fieri, but he’d be open to a match with Kitchen Nightmares host Gordon Ramsay.

“I love Guy. If he was still wearing the visor, maybe I’d pick Guy like, ‘we got to fight just because of your visor,” Baron Corbin said.

“Gordon Ramsay, we’ve done some crazy shows over in London. I think the food is better here than over there. So, we could argue about that. Gordon Ramsay, if you do hear this, Beef Wellington is disgusting,” Corbin stated. “That’s his number one dish. So that’s what we’ll fight over. Loser has to eat a Beef Wellington.”
