Juicy Finau Confirms He Has Been Released From MLW

Another noteworthy name has departed Major League Wrestling, as Juicy Finau announced that he has been released.

On October 29, Juicy Finau took to Twitter and stated that he has been released from MLW. Finau thanked everyone and expressed his gratitude to MLW for the opportunities. He also thanked Lance Anoa’i and Jacob Fatu, his stablemates in the Samoan SWAT Team. Finau ended the message by saying he was a free agent.

Update: In another post, Finau stated that he did not asked to be released. He noted that he hadn’t been used in months, and he was sitting on the sidelines. Finau also wrote that there were no hard feelings, and he understands his release was part of the business.

Finau shared the news alongside Anoa’i confirming that MLW granted his release. The two stars held the MLW World Tag Team Championship together. Like Anoa’i, Finau had not wrestled for the company since July. Juicy made his MLW debut in 2022, and he had been paired up with Anoa’i. He remains active on the independent scene.

Former MLW World Heavyweight Champion Alex Hammerstone also recently confirmed requested his release.

WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
