Ronda Rousey Set For Wrestling Revolver Debut, To Team With Marina Shafir

Ronda Rousey has another date set for her return to the ring.

The Wrestling Revolver confirmed Ronda Rousey will appear at its November 16 “Unreal” event in Los Angeles. This is Rousey’s second post-WWE appearance since she wrestled at SummerSlam in Detroit. Rousey also appeared at Lucha VaVoom’s live event in LA on Thursday night.

Rousey initially teased an appearance for Revolver on Friday, writing “how very convenient” in a quote tweet for the initial show announcement. She has since commented on the confirmed appearance, noting that all profits for ticket sales will benefit Lahaina (Hawaii) wildfire survivors.

Update: Wrestling REVOLVER subsequently announced that Rousey will team up with Marina Shafir at the show.

Rousey competed in a tag team match with Shafir against Taya Valkyrie and Brian Kendrick on Thursday night. The match took place on the first night of Lucha VaVoom’s two-night Area 51 event in Los Angeles.

This was Ronda Rousey’s first wrestling match since losing an MMA Rules match to Shayna Baszler at WWE SummerSlam. It was also her first pro wrestling match outside of WWE.
