Taya Valkyrie To Ronda Rousey: Let’s Do This Again Soon

Taya Valkyrie wants to mix it up with Ronda Rousey again.

Ronda Rousey popped up at the Lucha VaVOOM event on October 26. She came out of the crowd and teamed up with Marina Shafir to defeat Taya Valkyrie and Brian Kendrick.

Taya Valkyrie then took to Twitter and commented on sharing the ring with Ronda Rousey. She noted that they have walked different paths, but they had the same destination. Valkyrie ended her message by saying, “Let’s do this again soon”, and she tagged Rousey, Shafir, and AEW.

Valkyrie, a former IMPACT Knockouts World Champion, is currently signed to AEW. She signed with the company in March 2023. Rousey’s status is unclear, as she last wrestled for WWE at WWE SummerSlam on August 5. There, Shayna Baszler beat her in an MMA Rules match. Following the loss, Rousey noted that she didn’t have a reason to stay in the business.

Ronda Rousey Comments On In-Ring Return

Following her match on October 27, Ronda Rousey shared her thoughts on Instagram.

“@luchavavoom was honestly the best Lucha/burlesque hybrid show I’ve ever had the pleasure of jumping into unannounced. Anyone who doubted me and @marinashafir could make magic in a ring is an idiot – thank you @thetayavalkyrie and @mr.briankendrick for being down to get down with us,” Rousey wrote.

Mick Foley previously commented on Ronda Rousey’s time in WWE. Click here to see what he had to say.
