Ric Flair Makes AEW Debut On 10/25 AEW Dynamite

In a shocking moment during the October 25 episode of AEW Dynamite, Ric Flair made his AEW debut as he was revealed as Tony Khan’s special gift to Sting. He also hinted that he would be with the wrestling icon until he retires.

WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair was presented as a special gift from Tony Khan following Sting’s announcement that his last match will be at AEW Revolution. In the ring, Flair was cheered on by the crowd as he hugged Sting. “The Nature Boy” then shared his thoughts on the special moment.

Flair said that the pair of them made magic at the first Clash of Champions 35 years ago, where Flair and Sting took part in a legendary 55-minute match.

Flair went on to praise Sting as being not only one of the greatest wrestlers in the history of the sport, but also one of the nicest guys he’s ever met. He then told Sting that if he’ll have him, Flair would love to “ride it out” with Sting while he takes part in his final few matches.

The beautiful moment was short-lived, however, as Christian Cage, Luchasaurus, and Nick Wayne interrupted it. Cage threw some insults at Flair, then mocked Darby Allin, before saying that he wanted a trios match at AEW Full Gear. Sting called Cage a jackass and accepted the match. He made it clear that he and Allin would find a partner for the bout.
