Killer Kelly was on-hand to watch Lyra Valkyria‘s major victory on the October 24 episode of WWE NXT.
Valkyria headlined the opening night of NXT Halloween Havoc on October 24. In the main event, she challenged Becky Lynch for the NXT Women’s Championship and ultimately won the gold, which marked her first title win in WWE.
Killer Kelly then shared a picture of herself and Valkyria, which was seemingly taken backstage, after the match. She wrote that proud was an understatement, and she recalled wrestling Valkyria in Ireland earlier in their wrestling careers. Kelly also stated that Valkyria deserves the world.
Killer Kelly and Valkyria both spent time in NXT UK. Kelly was released in January 2020, and she has since become a featured member of the IMPACT Wrestling roster. She and Masha Slamovich currently hold the IMPACT Knockouts World Tag Team Championship.
Valkyria and Kelly wrestled each other in wXw and other promotions in Europe earlier in their careers.
