Dana White: Vince McMahon Is The Michael Jordan Of The Business World, He’s Been A Great Partner

Dana White has changed his tune when it comes to Vince McMahon.

White spoke with Justin Barrasso for Sports Illustrated about the WWE/UFC merger under the TKO group. White always had a contentious relationship with McMahon in the past, but he says that’s changed since UFC and WWE are now partners.

“My history with Vince isn’t a good one,” said White. “He tried to f— me so many times for no reason whatsoever except just to f— me. But that’s in the past. Now that Vince and I are allies, no one’s been a better partner than Vince.”

Dana White says it’s been like dealing with a completely different person now that he and Vince McMahon are on the same side. He estimates they’ve had 20 phone calls since the merger was announced, and Vince adds a lot of value to what TKO is trying to do.

“Since day one of the deal, it’s like I’m dealing with a different guy,” said White. “It goes to show that when you oppose him, or he thinks you are opposing him, the guy comes after you blindly. Once you are aligned, Vince is an incredible partner.

White has always had a great relationship with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon, even prior to them working together. Now, White says he’s most proud of the relationship he has with Vince.

“Vince McMahon, man, he’s an absolute savage,” said White. “Even with the stuff that went down with us in the past, I respect it. I love killers. He’s definitely a killer. He’s the Michael Jordan of the business world.”
