JBL Recalls The Real Reason For Rey Mysterio’s Concern While Hitting A 619

The world of professional wrestling has seen so many stars emerge. There are many talents who have played both the good guy and the bad guy. Wrestlers such as Triple H, Randy Orton, Batista, Roman Reigns, and even The Rock all fall under this category. One person who only portrayed only one character throughout his career was JBL.

Throughout his WWE career, John Bradshaw Layfield has been one of the biggest heels in the history of the promotion. The self-proclaimed Wrestling God was even a heel during his commentator days as well.

JBL is a former WWE Champion. It is to be noted that he held one of the longest reigns as a WWE Champion in history. His reign came to an end at WrestleMania 21 after John Cena defeated him. This was the birth of the Cenation Era.

The final feud that John Bradshaw Layfield was part of was against WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio.

Both stars had some of the best matches in their career. Despite being a heel, once the self-proclaimed Wrestling God managed to defeat the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion clean on SmackDown. This match was recalled by a fan on Twitter. JBL replied to him by jokingly claiming that Mysterio’s knees were in pain after hitting the hard skull of Layfield.

“Rey asked me to put my hands up on the 619, I thought that was so nice he was worried about me, then I found out it was hurting his feet kicking me in the head,” John Bradshaw Layfield tweeted.

The Master of the 6-1-9 defeated Layfield in a Title versus Career match and as a result, forced him to end his career.
