Chris Jericho Names His Worst Opponent of All Time

Every wrestling promotion has a top star in their company. But then there are only a handful of talent that have been the top wrestlers in every company they have competed in. One such star is the inaugural All Elite Wrestling World Heavyweight Champion, Chris Jericho.

The Ocho is the first and only wrestler in the world to have held a major championship in WCW, WWE, Ring of Honor, New Japan Pro Wrestling, and AEW. He is arguably one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time.

It is very rare to see Chris Jericho have a bad wrestling match. No matter what stipulation or how dangerous the environment is, The Ocho has been able to give his best performance at all times.

Jericho was a recent episode of the First We Feast’s Truth or Dab show. In the rapid-fire round, Jericho was asked about the worst match he had ever competed in. He decided to tell the truth.

The Ocho mentioned that his worst match was during his time in Japan against Japanese wrestler, Kamikaze. According to Cagematch, Jericho (as Lion Do) wrestled Kamikaze in Wrestle Association-R in February 1996.

This particular match was so bad that Jericho wanted it to get over as soon as possible.

“Gosh, there’s been a few. One that comes to mind is there’s a guy called Kamikaze in Japan. That’s the first time ever I wanted to pin someone with a Clothesline. I just wanted to end it. ‘Stay down, one, two, three.’ A real stinker if you will,” Chris Jericho said.

Jericho is currently feuding with Powerhouse Hobbs. Hobbs recently claimed that his beef with The Ocho was because he disrespected him as a fan once.

What do you think Jericho’s worst match was in your opinion?
