Will Ospreay: IMPACT Wrestling Is In The Running For My Next Home

Will Ospreay says IMPACT Wrestling is a contender as he looks ahead to his potential free agency.

IWGP United Kingdom Champion Will Ospreay is widely regarded as one of the best wrestlers in the world. His NJPW contract is set to expire in February 2024. If he hits the open market, he could become the most buzzworthy free agents available.

Speaking with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, Will Ospreay offered an update on his contract negotiations with NJPW. He noted that he is looking to explore every option, including IMPACT Wrestling.

“The deal is up in February, and we’re still in negotiations,” Ospreay said. “I’m looking to explore every single option and every single avenue. Impact Wrestling is in the running for my next home. I’m willing to test the waters. So this match against Mike Bailey is a real treat for me, and I’m excited to do it, especially with what could happen next year.”
