Sting has announced that his final match will take place at AEW Revolution 2024.
The legend addressed the fans during the October 18 episode of AEW Dynamite. He began by speaking about some of the iconic legends he’s shared the ring with, including Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan, and Dusty Rhodes.
Sting also touched on his first retirement in 2015. He stated that it never sat right with him that he was forced to hang up his boots at the time. Sting then revealed that he will be retiring in the near future. He stated that his last match will be at AEW Revolution 2024.
As of this writing, no date for AEW Revolution 2024 has been set. The pay-per-view has traditionally been held in March.
Sting is a WWE Hall of Famer, and he has been a top star in WCW and TNA during his legendary career, which dates back to 1985. He signed with AEW in late 2020, and he has been featured with the company ever since.
