Wardlow has MJF in his sights.
Since Wardlow returned on the October 4 episode of AEW Dynamite, he has picked up a few utterly dominant wins. His impressive streak continued on the October 18 episode of AEW Dynamite. There, he defeated Ryan Nemeth in less than 30 seconds. The referee stopped the match after just one powerbomb by “Mr. Mayhem.”
After the bell, Tony Schiavone tried to get a word with Wardlow and asked him why he was back. Without speaking, the powerhouse raised his wrist tape, which had AEW World Champion MJF’s name written on it.
Wardlow and MJF had a bitter feud in 2022 that culminated with Wardlow defeating MJF at AEW Double or Nothing 2022. However, their careers have gone in different directions since then. MJF has captured the AEW World Championship and become a fan-favorite star, while Wardlow had been absent for nearly four months prior to his return.
