Drew McIntyre sees the truth of what’s going on WWE Monday Night Raw.
On the October 16 episode of Monday Night Raw, both Seth Rollins and Sami Zayn told Drew McIntyre that he needs to “get over” being screwed out of the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship by The Bloodline and move forward with his career.
McIntyre, who has been teetering on the edge of embracing less and less of the happy-go-lucky persona he’s portrayed for the last few years, has the opportunity to wrestle Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship at WWE Crown Jewel.
Drew McIntyre Has A Plan To ‘Get Over It’
On the most recent episode of WWE Raw Talk, McIntyre made it clear that his eyes are wide open and the only way he’s going to get over what The Bloodline did to him is by defeating Seth Rollins to become the new World Champion.
“I mean, I seem to feel like everyone’s forgotten that The Bloodline isn’t a thing of the past,” he said. “They actively still have the Undisputed Title. It’s been over three and a half years going on now, and that’s fine. ‘Just move over to Raw. Forgive and forget.’ I’m not going to forgive and forget.
“They took away the biggest moment of my entire life,” he continued. “I had the perfect moment to win a title, a World Title, in front of fans after everything that happened during the pandemic. What happened? The bloodline happened. My family was there. Dad in the front row, wife in the front row, family cheering me on. I took out every member of The Bloodline and then Solo [Sikoa] appeared because they just keep multiplying, and multiplying, and multiplying.
“I move over to Raw and I should just forgive and forget, like everybody else around here. I should put on those sunglasses that Roddy Piper had in ‘They Live. I feel like I’m the only one wearing them right now, actually, because I’m the only one who can see the freaking truth. I’ll tell you how I’ll get over it. There’s only one way Drew McIntyre is gonna get over this whole Bloodline thing. It’s when I beat Seth Rollins for the World Title. Simple.”
Next week, Drew McIntyre will continue trying to get over it by wrestling Sami Zayn on Monday Night Raw on the road to wrestling Seth Rollins at WWE Crown Jewel on November 4.
