Rey Mysterio and Logan Paul will have a face-to-face confrontation on WWE SmackDown.
Logan Paul defeated Dillon Danis in his return to boxing at The PRIME Card on October 14. After the bout, Paul called out WWE United States Champion Rey Mysterio and made it clear that he was coming for the title.
Speaking with Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour, Rey Mysterio was asked whether a showdown with Paul is a “done deal.” He noted that he will see what Paul has to say on Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown.
“I’m gonna see what he has to say on Friday. We’re gonna have to tune in this Friday night on SmackDown. He called me out, and I responded. But now we’re gonna face each other, and I gotta hear what he has to say.
When asked, Rey Mysterio then confirmed that he and Paul will have a face-to-face on the October 20 episode of WWE SmackDown.
Update: WWE then confirmed the segment for WWE SmackDown.
