Jade Cargill has officially met The Queen.
During the season premiere of WWE SmackDown, Charlotte Flair spoke to SmackDown’s new General Manager Nick Aldis backstage about what went down at WWE Fastlane. As a result, Aldis announced that Flair will challenge IYO SKY for the WWE Women’s Championship next week on October 20.
As Flair went to leave, she came face-to-face with WWE’s newest signee Jade Cargill. Triple H then stepped in between them and attempted to introduce the two in the midst of tension.
Flair said, “It’s nice to meet you,” while Cargill responded, “It’s my pleasure.” Flair concluded, “Oh, it will be,” and then exited. The former AEW star then watched Flair walk past her.
Since signing with WWE on September 26, Cargill has now met Triple H, Shawn Michaels, and Flair on screen at various events. It remains to be seen which brand she will land on.
