Former WWE Writer Britney Abrahams Dismisses Lawsuit Against WWE

Britney Abrahams has voluntarily dismissed her lawsuit against WWE.

Per Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, former WWE writer Britney Abrahams has dismissed her wrongful termination lawsuit against WWE. She dismissed the case, which named Vince McMahon, Stephanie McMahon, and members of the WWE creative team, in August. The compliant had remained active until October 13. Now that it has been dismissed, the case cannot be tried again in the same court.

According to Thurston, he contacted Abrahams’ attorney, Derek Sells, and asked whether a settlement was reached. Sells noted that the two sides have “amicably” resolved the issue.

Abrahams filed the suit in April 2023 and alleged that there were racial and gender stereotypes in “offensively racist” scripts, in addition to her wrongful termination.
