‘Title Tuesday’ Is A Painful Reminder That Orange Cassidy Doesn’t Have A Title Anymore

This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite is set to take place in a special one-time-only time slot. It will be taking place on Tuesday night. The episode is also called AEW Dynamite: Title Tuesday. Orange Cassidy seemingly took offense to the special episode.

The Freshly Squeezed One had one of the best title runs in the history of All Elite Wrestling. He held onto the AEW International Championship for almost a year. Cassidy held the title for an astounding 326 days. He defeated ‘The Bastard’ PAC to capture the championship.

The 39-year-old wrestler put the AEW International Championship on the line almost every week. He defended the title in one-on-one matches, three-way matches, battle royales, four-way matches, and many more.

Despite wrestling week after week, he refused to take a break. He was beaten, and bruised, but he still was determined to prove to the AEW locker room and the fans that he is a fighting champion. His determination seemingly came back to bite him in his rear end. He defended the title against Jon Moxley at the AEW All Out Pay-per-view. Unfortunately, Cassidy was unable to get the win, Moxley captured the championship for the first time in his career.

The Freshly Squeezed One has not been the same since losing the championship. Ahead of AEW Title Tuesday, Cassidy took to Twitter to claim that the only reason for the show to be named so is to remind him that he is no longer a champion.

“Dynamite is tomorrow not Wednesday and it’s called Title Tuesday because they love reminding me that I don’t have a title. I just have these,” Orange Cassidy tweeted.

There are two major title matches set up for tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite: Title Tuesday.
