Tony Khan made some moves, and now AEW Dynamite will air commercial-free on Tuesday night.
AEW Dynamite is airing on Tuesday this week due to MLB Playoff coverage on TBS on Wednesday night. The ‘Title Tuesday’ episode of will now run head-to-head with WWE NXT.
On Monday, WWE announced NXT’s first 30 minutes would air commercial-free. Now, AEW’s Tony Khan has done the same thing, confirming Dynamite’s first half-hour will run without ad breaks.
But wait… there’s more!
Tony Khan also announced AEW Dynamite will be preceded by a 30-minute Buy-In show. That will air for free on YouTube/Twitter/Facebook at 7:30 pm EST, and it will feature Eddie Kingston vs. Minoru Suzuki for both of Kingston’s titles.
This week’s episode of NXT will feature the following matches and segments:
- Carmelo Hayes (w/ John Cena) vs. Bron Breakker (w/ Paul Heyman)
- Roxxane Perez vs. Asuka
- Six-Man Tag Team Pub Rules Match
- Cody Rhodes will make a major announcement
An appearance by The Undertaker has also been teased by WWE.
The “Title Tuesday” episode of AEW Dynamite is scheduled to feature the following:
- AEW in-ring debut of Adam Copeland (vs. Luchasaurus)
- Hangman Page vs. Jay White
- Powerhouse Hobbs vs. Chris Jericho
- Swerve Strickland vs. Bryan Danielson
- AEW Women’s World Championship: Saraya (c) vs. Hikaru Shida
- AEW International Championship: Rey Fenix (c) vs. Jon Moxley
- Toni Storm’s close-up
- an appearance by MJF
