Report: WWE Higher-Up Says Hulk Hogan’s Claim About Nick Hogan Wrestling At WrestleMania Is Untrue

Fact-checking Hulk Hogan.

A new report states that a higher-up in WWE has denied a recent claim made by Hulk Hogan that his son, Nick Hogan was slated to be involved at WrestleMania 39, potentially wrestling Shane McMahon twenty years after Hulk Hogan and Vince McMahon wrestled at WrestleMania XIX.

Nick Hogan has never wrestled in any major capacity, but Hulk Hogan is known to keep kayfabe at all times, brother.

New Report Denies Hogan’s Claims

A recent report from Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select (subscription required) claims that a higher-up in WWE said, “In no way is that true. I can’t think of a time in the last 13 or 14 years that Nick Hogan’s name was brought up at all, much less in a creative capacity. There has never been a serious conversation about him being involved in anything that I can think of. Even when Hulk would mention him being involved in things, there just wasn’t an interest or a benefit to that,” upon seeing the claim that Hulk Hogan made in his interview with Chris Van Vliet.

The higher-up then reportedly followed up by saying that Shane McMahon does have some wacky ideas at times, but doesn’t believe that even Shane-O-Mac would be interested in such a match.

Of course, this is just a report, and Hulk Hogan did wrestle over 400 days in one year, because of the back-and-forth travel to Japan and time zones, brother.
