Sammy Guevara was set to take part in tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite, but it was revealed that he was not medically cleared to compete.
On Wednesday’s episode, Don Callis revealed in a backstage segment that Guevara was not medically cleared to take part in a planned match tag team match with Konosuke Takeshita against Kenny Omega and Chris Jericho.
Callis didn’t go too far into detail on what exactly Guevara was dealing with. His last match came in a tag team match with Takeshita and Will Ospreay against Chris Jericho, Kenny Omega, and Kota Ibushi at AEW WrestleDream.
