In-Ring Segment: Becky Lynch

Lynch says she isn’t cleared to compete, but neither can Tiffany Stratton. They beat the piss out of each other. Lynch puts over Stratton. When she won the title, she said she wanted to elevate it to heights it had never seen before. Lynch is eyeing night one of Halloween Havoc. Lyra Valkyria interrupts. Valkyria says Lynch’s debut/career is what made her become a wrestler.

Before Lynch can accept Valkyria’s challenge, Indi Hartwell’s music hits. Hartwell walks to the ring and reminds Lynch that she never lost the title on her shoulder. Roxanne Perez is out next. Perez wants HER title back. Lynch books a triple-threat match tonight between Perez, Valkyria, and Hartwell. The winner gets a shot at Lynch’s title at Halloween Havoc. Tyler Bate and Butch vs. Gallus

Wolfgang and Mark Coffey take turns beating down Butch. Joe Coffey watches from ringside. Butch takes Wolfgang down in an armbar. Butch stomps on Wolfgang’s elbow. Bate tags in. Butch and Bate each stomp both of Wolfgang’s elbows. Mark rushes the ring and gets a simultaneous finger snap from Bate and Butch. After the break, Gallus is working over Bate. Bate manages to tag in Butch.

Butch clears the ring. Ten Beats of the Bodhren by Butch. Butch takes out Joe Coffey with a dive. Mark catches Butch with a Ghetto Blaster. Mark tries a suplex, but Butcg reverses it into the X-Plex. Bate tags in and lands a standing shooting star press. Airplane spin by Bate to Wolfgang. Butch takes Wolfgang out with a dive. Mark escapes the Tyler Driver. Bate lands a rebound clothesline. Butch and Bate lands a double Tyler Driver for the win.

Winners- Tyler Bate and Butch

After the match, Joe Coffey attacks Bate and Butch. Ridge Holland runs down to the ring and makes the save.

In-Ring Segment: Ilja Dragunov

Dragunov says we can refer to him by many names, but especially the new NXT Champion. Dragunov puts over Carmelo Hayes. Today, he can barely stand, but he does stand. He promised he would fulfill his destiny. Dragunov will turn this championship reign into a symbol of incomparable passion. He will protect that promise with his life. Long live the Zsar! Trick Williams’ music hits. The crowd goes nuts. Williams congratulates Dragunov. He isn’t out here because of Dragunov’s championship. He’s here because someone else won a title at No Mercy. Williams is the NEW NXT North American Champion.

Williams credits Dragunov for pushing him to the next level. Dragunov tells Williams he is proud of him. At No Mercy, Williams whooped that trick. Carmelo Hayes’ music hits. Hayes tells Dragunov that he appreciates the kind words. Hayes asks Williams why he is thanking Dragunov. He’s has been telling Williams for years that he’s going to be a champion. Hayes tells Williams that winning the title is one thing; defending it is another. Williams asks Hayes what he meant by that. Dragunov asks the same question. Dragunov tells Hayes this is a conversation between champions.

If Hayes thinks they aren’t done, Hayes can come see him when he figures all this out. Hayes tells Williams if he wants to follow in his footsteps, Williams needs to focus on Dominik tonight. Dominik Mysterio interrupts. Mysterio says he promised Mami he would bring his title back home. Hayes tells Williams he will be in his corner if The Judgement Day gets involved tonight. Dominik asks Williams how long he will be in Hayes’ shadow. Williams declines Hayes’ offer. He won the title alone; he’ll defend it alone.

Number One Contender’s Match: Indi Hartwell vs. Lyra Valkyria vs. Roxanne Perez

Becky Lynch is at the commentary desk for the match. Hartwell tosses both women all over the ring. Hartwell lands a slam. Pere breaks up the pin. Perez rolls Hartwell into a prawn hold. Tilt-a-whirl head scissors by Perez. Hartwell falls out of the ring. Valkyria breaks up Perez’s dive attempt and sends her out of the ring. Valkyria lands a dropkick through the ropes to Perez. Hartwell gets to her feet.

Valkyria tries to dropkick Hartwell, but she gets caught. Hartwell lands a boot. Perez appears out of nowhere and wipes Hartwell out with a tope suicida. After the break, Perez hits Pop Rocks on Hartwell. Perez goes for the pin. Someone pulls Perex out of the ring. It’s Kiana James. James decks Perez. Lynch gets up from the commentary desk and boots James into next week. That was vicious. Back in the ring, Valkria lands a splash off the top on Hartwell for the win.

Winner and New Number one contender, Lyra Valkyria!

After the match, Lynch and Valkyria have a standoff. Tegan Nox walks out on the stage and says she’ll beat the both of them if she has to.

Gigi Dolan vs. Blair Davenport

Dolan attacks Davenport during her entrance. Dolan beats down Davenport as the bell rings. Basement dropkick to the face by Dolan. Davenport responds with a double stomp off the second rope to Dolan’s back. Dolan kicks out. Davenport works over Dolan. Davenport tries to bring in a chair. Dolan takes it away. The referee takes the chair from Dolan before she can hit Davenport with it. Dolan rolls up Davenport for the win.

Winner- Blair Davenport

NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament: Izzi Dame vs. Kelani Jordan

Dame takes Jordan down with a back elbow. Jordan tries a sunset flip. Dame puts on the brakes and sends Jordan into the middle rope. Running knee by Dame. Dame works over Jordan. Jordan fires up and hits a Splittlegged moonsault for the win.

Winner- Kelani Jordan

Backstage, Duke Hudson and Andre Chase ask Thea Hail if they can accompany her to the ring tonight. Jacy Jayne tells Hail it’s a good idea. Jayne leads the group in a Chase U chant.

Thea Hail and Jacy Jayne vs. Lola Vice and Elektra Lopez

Lopez and Vic work over Hail. Hail manages to tag in Jayne. Jayne clears the ring. Lopez misses a spear in the corner. Jayne lands a nasty right hand. Hail begs for the tag. Jayne tags in Hail. Hail traps Lopez in the Kimura. Lopez taps out.

Winners- Thea Hail and Jacy Jayne

NXT North American Championship Match: Trick Williams (c) vs. Dominik Mysterio w/Rhea Ripley

As soon as the bell rings, Dominik is all over Williams. Williams runs over Dominik with a shoulder block. Dropkick by Williams. Pop up uppercut by Williams. Dominik rolls out of the ring to confer with Mami. After the break, Finn Bálor and Damian Priest walk to ringside. Dominik takes control after a distraction from Ripley. Dominik works over Williams. Williams counters the three amigos with a leaping neckbreaker. The crowd is going nuts for Williams. Williams fires up and lands a flurry of strikes.

Superkick by Dominik. Spinning slam by Williams. Rolling Uranage by Williams. Dominik kicks out. Ripley slides her title into the ring. Dominik DDTs Williams on the championship. Williams kicks out! 619 by Dominik. Dominik goes up top for a frog splash. Williams gets his knees up. Running knee by Williams. JD McDonagh hits the ring and tries to attack Williams. Williams knees McDonagh in the face. Priest hits Williams in the head with the championship. Dominik lands a frog splash for the win.
