Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa reunited on WWE RAW.
Gargano made his long-awaited return in the closing moments of the October 2 episode of WWE RAW. In the main event, Gunther defeated Tommaso Ciampa to retain the WWE Intercontinental Championship. Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci ganged up on Ciampa after the bell, and they overwhelmed him until Gargano made the save.
Gargano fought off the Imperium members and teamed up with Ciampa to leave them lying.
Gargano has been absent from RAW for months. His last match on the brand came on May 15, when he competed in a battle royal. Since them, Gargano has competed at a handful of live events, the last of which came on September 10.
