WWE is loading up the card for the October 9 episode of WWE RAW.
During the October 2 episode, the broadcast team confirmed that Tegan Nox will challenge Becky Lynch for the NXT Women’s Championship. The match has been delayed twice, first due to plans changing and later for medical reasons. Lynch was not cleared to compete in the match as scheduled on October 2 due to a laceration she sustained at NXT No Mercy. Nox gained momentum on Monday when she beat Chelsea Green in a singles match.
Additionally, Ivar of the Viking Raiders will face Kofi Kingston in a Viking Rules match. Xavier Woods beat Ivar on Monday, but the powerhouse laid him and Kingston out with a post-match attack.
Elsewhere on the show, Raquel Rodriguez will take on Nia Jax in her first match since September 11. Jax interfered in Rodriguez’s match with Rhea Ripley and brutally attacked her. Rodriguez had been sidelined until she returned and brawled with Jax on Monday night.
The card for the October 9 episode of WWE RAW is as follows:
- NXT Women’s Championship: Becky Lynch (c) vs. Tegan Nox
- Raquel Rodriguez vs. Nia Jax
- Viking Rules Match: Kofi Kingston vs. Ivar
