Killer Kelly Shares Reason For Abbreviated Match Over The Weekend

Killer Kelly provides some context for her brief appearance at a weekend event.

Midwest All-Star Wrestling, a Minnesota/Wisconsin-based promotion, advertised a match between Killer Kelly and Laynie Luck over the weekend. The match was shorter than originally scheduled, and Killer Kelly explained that it was due to prioritizing her health after she had a serious anxiety attack.

“I read some stuff online that made me really sad, so I had to explain what happened at
@MW_AllStar. Yesterday, right before my match, I got some terrifying news that sent me through a spiral and had an anxiety attack. I couldn’t think straight and stop crying,” she wrote on Twitter.

“I had to make the tough decision to not wrestle a full match because I couldn’t risk mine and most importantly @LaynieLuck health. God forbid something happening… I literally couldn’t think. She was great and very supportive, and I’m very thankful for her,” Killer Kelly wrote.

Killer Kelly will return

Killer Kelly apologized to the fans who came to see her, but she did her best in the situation.

“I’m so sorry to the fans that went to the show to see me,” she added. “I was legit suffering backstage and hope you understand why that wasn’t possible. I was battling inside and really wanted to go out there and have a great match but just couldn’t physically and mentally. I apologize. And lastly I want to thank @MW_AllStar for being so kind to me yesterday. They didn’t have to, but they were. I really appreciate how David handled stuff. Very thankful. I promise I’ll be back to make up for everything.”
