All Elite Wrestling is reportedly discussing another pay-per-view.
As previously reported, AEW has considered expanding their pay-per-view schedule. In an update, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reports that, per sources within AEW, a December pay-per-view was being discussed by the company. It is not known whether the show will be AEW or ROH branded. ROH typically holds the Final Battle event in December.
Sapp wrote that, within the AEW roster, the last weekend of December has been the rumored date. Sources believed that the show is being planned for New York City, but the venue is not known.
The company just held AEW WrestleDream on October 1. Full Gear is next on the schedule; the show is set for November 18, and it will emanate from the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California.
Back in July, Sapp reported that the company’s broadcast partner, Warner Bros. Discovery, was in favor of an expanded pay-per-view schedule, and they proposed it during their contract talks. Tony Khan then confirmed that he discussed the matter with Warner Bros. Discovery.
WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
