A mysterious vignette with some Easter eggs played on the September 26 episode of WWE NXT.
In a brief clip, an unidentified individual sits down in front of a TV. The person flips through a few channels, and clips of WKRC Cincinnati, the Cincinnati Bengals, and WCW played. No further details were provided.
Though he was not named, the video was a fairly apparent teaser for Brian Pillman Jr., who reportedly signed with WWE and started with NXT at the end of August. Brian is the son of former WWE star Brian Pillman, who played for the Cincinnati Bengals before he ventured into the wrestling world.
Pillman Sr. had a memorable run in WCW, where he held the WCW World Tag Team Championship with Steve Austin. He signed with WWF in 1996 and feuded with Austin, but he passed away in 1997.
It is not known when Brian Pillman Jr. will debut on WWE NXT.
