Adam Cole’s Status For AEW WrestleDream To Be Addressed On 9/27 AEW Dynamite

Adam Cole‘s status for AEW WrestleDream is up in the air, and fans will get an update on the September 27 episode of AEW Dynamite.

During the September 22 episode of AEW Dynamite, MJF defended the AEW World Championship against Samoa Joe. During the match, Adam Cole ran to the ring and seemingly hurt his ankle when he jumped off the ramp. He was seen limping, and he was reportedly taken to the hospital after the show. AEW then announced that Adam Cole and MJF would defend the ROH World Tag Team Championship against The Righteous at the pay-per-view.

At the AEW WrestleDream media call, Tony Khan was asked to comment on Adam Cole’s status. He noted that the pay-er-view match currently set for the show, but Cole’s status would be addressed on AEW Dynamite.

“They’ve got a match against The Righteous this weekend. The Righteous match, as of now, that is still slotted for the event. Adam Cole didn’t, he was a little bit ginger on that leg, obviously I think people saw. But we’ll address that on Dynamite tomorrow, and very excited for tomorrow’s Dynamite. It should be a great show tomorrow night. We’ll address Adam Cole and everything happening at WrestleDream on tomorrow night’s Dynamite.

WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available, and we will have coverage of AEW Dynamite as it airs on September 27.
