Baron Corbin Open To Fighting Gordon Ramsay, Says Beef Wellington Is Disgusting

Baron Corbin could see himself hitting the End of Days on Gordon Ramsay.

WWE Superstar Baron Corbin recently spoke with WrestleZone’s Managing Editor, Bill Pritchard. When asked about potentially using his real-life love for culinary arts as a gimmick, Corbin thinks that could’ve been wild but isn’t sure it would have much of a shelf life.

“Yeah, I mean, you could have gone down that road,” Baron Corbin said. “I could have put a butcher apron on and hit people with giant tomahawk steaks, which I think would be hilarious. ‘This is a $200 steak. You’re going down.’ And I think it would have been wild, but it would have been another character, I think, that just didn’t have shelf life.

“I think when you look at Roman Reigns right now, he’s just bringing himself out to the table. The same with guys like Cena; he is not a character. Cena is a guy who personifies ‘never give up.’ He is awesome in what he does, and those guys are just out there doing what they do and feel versus portraying something they’re not. I think that’s why they had the magnitude and the career that they had. That’s kind of where I’m trying to get to.”

Loser Eats Beef Wellington match

Corbin was asked what celebrity chef he’d like to feud with if he went down that road. Corbin didn’t have a current beef with Guy Fieri, but he’d entertain a match with Kitchen Nightmares host Gordon Ramsay.

“I love Guy. If he was still wearing the visor, maybe I’d pick Guy like, ‘we got to fight just because of your visor,” Baron Corbin said.

“Gordon Ramsay, we’ve done some crazy shows over in London. I think the food is better here than over there. So, we could argue about that. Gordon Ramsay, if you do hear this, Beef Wellington is disgusting,” Corbin stated. “That’s his number one dish. So that’s what we’ll fight over. Loser has to eat a Beef Wellington.”
