More matches have been added to AEW WrestleDream, including a six-man tag team match, a TNT title bout, and more.
As confirmed during Saturday’s episode of AEW Collision, Chris Jericho will team up with Kenny Omega and Kota Ibushi to take on the members of the Don Callis Family. This comes after an incident on Friday’s episode of AEW Rampage, where Sammy Guevara joined the family and Jericho was saved by Omega’s return in a wild promo.
Elsewhere at WrestleDream, Christian Cage will defend his newly won AEW TNT Championship in a 2 out of 3 falls match against Darby Allin. Eddie Kingston will also defend both his ROH World Championship and NJPW Strong Openweight Championship in the same match against Katsuyori Shibata.
Finally, a four-way tag team match will take place, with the winner getting an automatic shot at the AEW World Tag Team Championships. The teams taking place in the match will be the Young Bucks, Gunn Clubb, Orange Cassidy and HOOK, and the Lucha Brothers.
AEW WrestleDream is set to take place on October 1, 2023.
