Ichiban Signs Multi-Year Deal With MLW

This is one of the best eras of professional wrestling. One of the main reasons is the fact that there are multiple promotions outside of the WWE realm. Such promotions are giving opportunities for aspiring wrestlers such as Ichiban a platform to showcase their skills.

Ichiban only started wrestling in 2021. He tested his luck in multiple promotions in the Independent Wrestling Circuit. The Masked Wrestler’s career started to take flight once he began to compete at Beyond Wrestling Open. Despite having been given multiple title opportunities, the young rookie was unable to capture any title within his first two years in the business.

Earlier this year, in the month of April, the self-proclaimed Number One got his first taste of championship gold when he defeated Brad Hollister to become the Wrestling Open Champion. Ichiban is currently a double champion. He also holds the SAW Skywalker Title. He defeated the former champion Anthony Greene in a ‘Winner Takes All’ match to capture the championship.

Following his run as the champion in two different independent wrestling promotions, the Masked Wrestler has also competed in Major League Wrestling a few times. He was one of the main attractions at the latest MLW Fury Road Special Event. That match was probably one of the most important matches of his career. He defeated former Ring of Honor World Television Champion Tracey Williams.

It seems like Major League Wrestling was also impressed with Ichiban’s in-ring skills. They have officially signed him to a multi-year deal with their promotion.

The Wrestling Open and SAW Skywalker Champion took to Twitter to confirm the news. He also thanked Major League Wrestling for the opportunity.

The newly-signed MLW star is certainly becoming a promising wrestler.
