Emma (Tenille Dashwood) Released By WWE

Emma is no longer with WWE.

Emma (Tenille Dashwood) announced she was no longer with WWE on Thursday. She confirmed the news in an unfortunate way, as she replied to the announcement that WWE was headed to her home country of Australia for the Elimination Chamber event.

After her initial post said WWE in Australia was “a dream”, Dashwood replied with the following:

“Oops nevermind. I just got released… I am no longer with WWE.”

Tenille Dashwood began her WWE career in 2011 when she started with the FCW developmental brand. She was brought up to NXT after the FCW rebrand in 2012, and remained with the company until her first release in 2017.

Dashwood worked for Ring Of Honor between 2017-2019 and later joined IMPACT Wrestling in 2019. She worked with Madison Rayne in IMPACT, and the pair won the Knockouts Tag Team Championship as The Influence in 2021.

Dashwood left IMPACT later that year and re-signed with WWE in October 2022. Emma’s second run with the company saw her re-emerge on the SmackDown brand. Emma’s return match was a Women’s Championship Open Challenge loss to Ronda Rousey.

Emma was moved to RAW in the latest WWE Draft, with her last match in WWE being a loss to Shayna Baszler on July 10.
