Seven-time WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair has launched a new fundraiser campaign.
The Queen is one of the biggest heels in the business. Currently, she is playing a slightly different role as a babyface. The former Women’s Champion is not only active inside the squared circle but is also actively working outside as well.
Earlier this year, Charlotte Flair was away from in-ring action for a few months. During her time away, she became an ambassador for Smile Train. This organization works with kids who suffer from cleft lips and palates.
Smile Train is a non-profit organization that accepts any amount of donation as a charity. Since starting the foundation in 1999, the organization has been able to provide free cleft surgeries for people in over 87 countries.
The Queen took to Twitter to ask her fans for some help with regards to helping kids with clefts. She announced that she will be starting a fundraising campaign and that the proceeds will be directly helping the kids and their surgeries.
“You’ve heard me talk about how special it is for me to be a Global Ambassador for @SmileTrain… Now, I’m asking for your help. I’m launching a fundraising campaign to help fund life-changing surgeries for kids with clefts. For just $21 – less than your next Uber Eats order – you can pay for one child’s medical expenses. Cleft surgery isn’t just a cosmetic thing. Children with cleft have trouble eating, breathing, talking and are often incredibly isolated. Let’s change these kids lives one donation at a time,” Charlotte Flair tweeted.
