Celebrities are no strangers to having fans come up to them at any place in their day-to-day. Reigning AEW TBS Champion Kris Statlander says she dislikes it the most at the airport.
During a recent appearance on Busted Open Radio, Kris Statlander described how she feels like fans approaching her at the airport is an invasion of privacy.
“Yes, I am not a fan of when fans wait at airports and hotels,” said Statlander. “Because one, I think it’s an invasion…we’re not technically at work at that time. You know, most travel has been so hectic lately that lot of us just cannot be bothered to, you know, put on a happy face sometimes. Some of us, we have a lot of real life things to deal with. And it’s like, sometimes we are just not always our best selves, especially when traveling, we don’t feel our best.”
Statlander went on to say that she’s not always dressed the best or even having a great day when traveling. If she knows fans are at her hotel, it can also be hard to relax.
“I know I’m not, like, I’m not dressed like I would be for a meet and greet when I’m on an airplane all day or when I’m going to my hotel. And then, also knowing that I’m going to hotel and if there’s fans there and I feel like I’m not able to just kind of relax and have some privacy and some free time. It’s just unfortunate that people feel so comfortable violating our privacy.”
