Jade Cargill‘s potential move to WWE continues to pick up steam.
As previously reported by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, the former TBS Champion’s contract is believed to be up, and she is expected to head to WWE. She was also reportedly set to be at the WWE Performance Center this week.
Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer provided an update on the situation. He noted that WWE is working on what he described as “high priority” creative for Cargill on the main roster.
Meltzer also noted that people hadn’t seen Cargill at the WWE Performance Center, but that didn’t mean that she wasn’t there.

Tony Khan On Jade Cargill
AEW CEO Tony Khan recently shared his thoughts on Jade Cargill. When asked about the rumors during an appearance on Superstar Crossover, he stated that he couldn’t comment on them. However, he made it clear that she is always welcome in AEW.
“As far as Jade goes, I can’t really comment on that, except to say that Jade’s been a great wrestler for AEW, and certainly always welcome in AEW. [She] could always be somebody we would always love to work with here in AEW.
Khan also praised Cargill’s match against Kris Statlander on the September 15 episode of AEW Rampage.
