AEW Women’s Champion Saraya had a message for the number one contender, Toni Storm.
Saraya and Toni Storm are set to wrestle each other in one-on-one competition this Wednesday on AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam. This will be the first time the two stars will face each other in singles competition in the Jacksonville-based promotion. The match will be for the AEW Women’s World Championship.
The New Zealander won a four-way match to earn a shot at the world title. Saraya took to Twitter to share a message to her opponent. She claimed that she would defeat Storm, but it would hurt the Anti-Diva more than the former Outcast member. She also apologized in advance and stated that it was also for Storm’s own good.
“Sorry Toni, this is [sic] will hurt me more than you know… but it’s for your own good and well being…,” Saraya tweeted.
Following this tweet, Saraya revealed that Storm was born in the land of the Kiwis, but she is of British descent. A fan replied questioning if she truly knows Toni Storm. The AEW Women’s Champion responded by saying she knows her well. She’s also set to give her a beating this Wednesday out of pure love.
“Toni is my BESTTTT friend. I know her better than anyone. The a** kicking I have to give her is out of pure love,” Saraya tweeted.
It is to be noted that Saraya pinned Toni Storm in the four-way match at AEW All In to become the new Women’s World Champion. This is also the first major title that Saraya captured in the Jacksonville-based promotion.
