Saraya Claps Back At ‘Misogynistic Neck Beards’ Who Think She’s Too Mean Of A Heel

Saraya is once again calling out criticism of her current persona.

Earlier in the week, Saraya was the center of some backlash after mixing it up with fans over criticism of a September 13 AEW Dynamite match. The bout featured Toni Storm, Nyla Rose, Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D., and Hikaru Shida.

A fan had criticized the match for being “terrible” and “sloppy.” The AEW Women’s World Champion responded to the fan in a tweet. The reaction created a backlash among the Internet wrestling community.

It seems Saraya doesn’t care about the polarizing reaction as she took to Twitter to call out wrestling twitter for being “soft.”

“People want you to be a heel until you are actually a heel then they’re like “no not like that you’re too mean” wrestling twitter is so soft. It’s because it’s a bunch of misogynistic neck beards or stan accounts who can’t tell a wrist lock from a pad lock,” she tweeted.

Saraya’s first title defense

Saraya won the AEW Women’s World Championship in front of her family and friends at All In. She defeated Hikaru Shida and challengers Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D., and Toni Storm in a fatal four-way match to win. Now she will have her first title defense against Toni Storm on AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam next Wednesday.
