AEW Collision Viewership Rises On 9/9, Demo Also Up

AEW Collision‘s viewership rose on September 9.

Per Sports TV Ratings, 476,000 viewers tuned in on Saturday. This number is up from last week’s episode, when 345,000 viewers watched the show.

Collision also drew a 0.15 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. This also marks an increase from last week‘s episode, which drew a 0.11 rating.

Saturday’s episode of AEW Collision went head-to-head with plenty of NCAA college football, including a major game between Alabama and Texas. Collision will face stiff competition for the rest of 2023 as the college football season continues to heat up.

What Happened On This Week’s AEW Collision?

This week’s show kicked off with some in-ring action as Jon Moxley defeated Action Andretti to retain the AEW International Championship.

Elsewhere on the show, Jade Cargill made her surprise return to the company as she got involved in the aftermath of the TBS Championship match between Kris Statlander and Robyn Renegade. Bryan Danielson also announced that he expects to step back as a full-time performer within the next year.

In the main event, Ring of Honor World Television Champion Samoa Joe defeated Penta El Zero Miedo to advance to the finals of the Grand Slam World Title Eliminator Tournament.
