Drew McIntyre Is Open To Forming a Super Group In WWE For The Greater Good

Former WWE Champion Drew McIntyre is one of the biggest stars in professional wrestling right now. He recently shared his thoughts on the possibility of leading a faction in the Stamford-based promotion.

The Scottish Warrior has been part of multiple tag teams and factions. He was once part of the infamous 3MB with Jinder Mahal and Heath Slater. For a short while, McIntyre was also part of Shane McMahon’s group.

The two-time WWE Champion had also won tag team gold by teaming up with Dolph Ziggler.

During a recent interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling, Drew McIntyre shared his thoughts on forming a UK faction. He mentioned that he is better off as a singles star but if there is a time when he needs to form a group he might be open to the idea.

“I don’t know. And I’ve always felt like more of a lone wolf and I have noticed that a lot of people have been farming factions and using it to their advantage… Yeah, I just can’t imagine myself in a group right now. If the right people, the right time, the right place, the right cause, and became apparent that I really need to form some kind of supergroup for the greater good, that I would. But right now, I just can’t imagine it. I do have Riddle nipping at my heels to be a tag team every week. So yeah, he’s like an annoying dog, but I do like him,” Drew McIntyre said.

Drew McIntyre has not forgotten about what Jey Uso and the Bloodline did

While speaking in the same interview, the Scottish Warrior revealed the real reason behind why he is not happy with the fact that Main Event Jey Uso is on WWE Raw. McIntyre recalled his rivalry with Roman Reigns in the hunt for the Undisputed Universal Champion.

“You mentioned The Bloodline. There’s a reason that I wasn’t giving Jey Uso a big hug as soon as he showed up on Monday Night Raw is because he was kicking my head in for about a year or six months straight. And making sure I wasn’t becoming Undisputed Champion.”
