Ortiz Responds To Being Called Santana’s “Crutch” In AEW Rampage Promo

Ortiz didn’t appreciate Santana‘s promo on AEW Rampage last night.

The second part of Mike Santana’s vignette series aired last night on AEW Rampage. Santana stated during the video that he’s continuing his journey in All Elite Wrestling on his own without a “crutch” and without a crew.

These words weren’t well received by Santana’s former tag team partner, Ortiz who took to social media to respond to the promo, tweeting out:

“What a way to find out years of having your back meant nothing. Good luck without your “crutch” Just remember it helped you walk for the last 14+ years. Hope your legs are good. Thank you for being honest for once. But you couldn’t say it to my face? You know you still can, right?” Ortiz said in a post.

It didn’t take long for Santana to respond either, revealing that Ortiz hadn’t spoken to him in 14 months and didn’t appreciated being painted as the bad guy.

“Wow. First thing you said to me in 14 months. no text no call. No I hope your recovery has gone well but of course paint me to be the bad guy like you’ve always done. Guess you forgot about our last conversation about this. Either way I’m happy I hope and pray the same for you praying hands emoji,” Mike Santana said in response.
