NXT Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton comments on potentially getting called up to the main roster.
Stratton has become one of NXT’s top stars in recent months, and she won the NXT Women’s Championship at NXT Battleground.
Speaking on the Hall of Fame with Booker T and Brad Gilmore, Stratton was asked about her desire to be on the main roster. Stratton stated that she would love to be called up as soon as possible. “I have gotten a little taste of what it’s like to be on RAW,” Tiffany Stratton said. “I really would love to be called up as soon as possible, but I do know that I have some stuff to work on. At the latest, I would want to be in NXT, around WrestleMania time I feel is my calling. We shall see. Whenever the time is right. I believe timing is right and everything happens for a reason. Whenever it happens is when it’s meant to happen.”
Tiffany Stratton Previews Match Against Becky Lynch
Tiffany Stratton will defend the NXT Women’s Championship against Becky Lynch on the September 9 episode of WWE NXT. During an appearance on WWE’s The Bump, Stratton previewed the match.
“I’m very confident,” Tiffany Stratton said. “But I also know that Becky is one of the best of all time. She’s one of the best wrestlers in the female division. I have to say that this is definitely one of the biggest matches of my career, but also my career began two years ago, and Becky’s coming after me. So I have to say that I’m very confident going into this.
