Tommy Dreamer is not retiring yet.
At IMPACT Victory Road, Tommy Dreamer put his career on the line against Digital Media Champion Kenny King. Dreamer’s daughters were in the front row as it was the same building in White Plains, New York, where Dreamer first became a fan.
Dreamer paid tribute to both of his idols Dusty Rhodes and Terry Funk en route to ultimately scoring the victory. When Sheldon Jean was ejected, Heath ran out and hit King with Wake Up Call. Dreamer then got to his feet and planted King with a DDT to capture his first Digital Media title.
Dreamer also paid tribute to Funk with his gear and a Funk-themed t-shirt. Funk passed away on August 23.
King’s first Digital Media title reign began in July when he beat Joe Hendry at Slammiversary.
