Wardlow Is Going To Play Dad And Teach The AEW Locker Room About Respect

Wardaddy sends a message to the AEW locker room.

Former TNT Champion Wardlow has been absent from AEW television for several months. Recently, Mr. Mayhem subtly spoke about the backstage problems in the Jacksonville-based promotion. He claimed to teach the entire locker room a little bit about respect.

Mr. Mayhem has been absent from the Jacksonville-based promotion since June of this year. His last match was on the opening night of AEW Collision. He put his TNT Championship on the line against Luchasaurus. Thanks to some help from Christian Cage, All Elite Wrestling’s Dinasour dethroned Wardlow.

Since then, Christian Cage and Luchasaurus have been running a reign of terror in AEW. While the Dinasour is the rightful champion, the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion claims to be the owner of the title.

Wardlow recently took to Twitter to tease his return to the Jacksonville-based promotion. While doing so he sent a warning to the entire roster. He claimed that he needed to return to the Tony Khan-led company to teach some respect to everyone.

“Looks like I’m gonna have to play dad when I return, and teach this entire place about respect,” Wardlow tweeted.

Wardlow saying that he is going to have play dad might be a hint that he wants to target Christian Cage upon his return. Cage has been recently taking several shots at wrestler’s fathers. Mr. Mayhem also has been absent from TV thanks to his attack. Thus it makes sense for him to target Cage.

The second thing is the fact that the backstage fights are still continuing in AEW. Recently at the All In event, CM Punk and Jungle Boy Jack Perry got into a brawl backstage resulting in Punk’s termination.
